Babyface discovered KES during a writing session and instantly knew there was something nostalgically unique about the singer/songwriter. Therefore, he introduced KES to L.A. Reid and the two immediately signed him to Epic Records as a joint venture. This is the first time in 25 years that L.A. and Babyface has done a record deal together.
For those of you music lovers who are fans of David Bowie, Rick James, and Phil Collins, will enjoy KES’s sound. He brings a modern approach to 80′s music in which he fuses rock-n-roll, R&B, and rave music together subtley, but with noticible impact.

@Missinfo tweeted about the surprise album and Night-Night Time was pushed back!! I couldn't download it fast enough! Didn't even listen to snippets. Just laid my $15.99 down! And I AM NOT disappointed at all. This album and accompanying videos are so good! (This exclamation mark-laden opening paragraph documents my continued excitement.)
'Beyoncé' was not prefaced by any sort of promotion. It just dropped. And this is the power of Beyoncé: In just three hours following the exclusive iTunes release, more than 80,000 digital copies sold. And within 24 hours that total rose to 350,000. Billboard estimates that the sales could reach 600,000 by the end of the week. And as her husband has once said, "..Numbers don't lie." Queen Bey's reign seems to be everlasting.
This album has 14 audio tracks and 17 videos. Each track has an accompanying video. The song "Partition" is broken down in two videos, "Yoncé" and "Partition" and the same was done for the track "Haunted"; broken into: "Ghost" and "Haunted".
'Beyoncé' as a whole is a really good piece of work. But I have my fave tracks:
Haunted-- I think the 2nd part of the song can definitely be used in promotional ads for a movie or tv show or even a product.
Drunk In Love ft. Jay-Z
Superpower ft. Frank Ocean
Mine ft. Drake
And as for the videos, I really like:
Blue-- Absolute fave. Lost count on the number of times I've viewed it.
Grown Woman-- a lot of home vids of a young Bey and fam (and even fallen Destiny's Child members)
Super Power-- Cameos by Pharrell, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams

Since 1997 Preston Truman, an ex-Utah Jazz ball boy, has held onto the autographed sneakers that Michael Jordan wore as he played under great physical distress due to Influenza ("Flu Game"). But today the sneakers have a new home after an auction ended with a $104,765 price tag.
Preston had kept the size 13 sneakers in a safety deposit box for the last 16 years, telling ESPN that he went years without giving them a thought or even looking at them, which is why he didn’t have a hard time saying goodbye.
Technology has long been a double-edged sword. With the internet, smart phones, tablets, and home computers being easily accessible many have personally witnessed technology's dreadful edge. One of the latest to witness this is 19 year old Dupree Johnson of south Florida.
An unemployed Johnson, known as "Duce22ceritfied" (not sure if the typo on "certified" is on Johnson or my news source) on Instagram posted pictures of himself posing with illegal firearms, gold grills and chain(s). Local authorities got a look at his page and a search warrant for his home. Needless to say, he is currently in jail with bail set at $60,000.
From Huffington Post:
A sheriff in Palm Beach County, Fla., recently came across the Instagram page of Dupree Johnson, 19.
Noting that Johnson had a rap sheet that included grand theft, burglary, and felony possession of a firearm, the deputy decided to look more closely at the pictures.
Authorities quickly issued a search warrant for Johnson's home in Lake Worth, Fla.
Deputies not only discovered a Glock underneath his bedspread and a stolen -- and loaded -- Tec-9 9mm pistol, but also $250,000 worth of stolen jewelry, electronics and and firearms, Miami New Times reported.
Investigators believe that Johnson may have been one of several people responsible for as many as 40 burglaries in 55-and-older communities in Boynton Beach, Fla., according to CBS12.com.
By the time officials were done cataloguing Johnson's stash, they had charged him with 142 felony counts of being in possession of a weapon or ammo, the Sun-Sentinel reported.
WPBF-TV reports that when investigators were filling out the arrest report, they asked Johnson for his occupation and he allegedly replied: "Thief."
It Gets Worse: Fake Sign Language Interpreter At Nelson Mandela's Memorial Service Admits To Being Schizophrenic & Experiencing Hallucinations During The Event
If EVER in history there was a time for one to just SHUT UP! It would be now and that one would be Thamsanqa Jantjie.
Jantjie has recently garnered worldwide attention as the sign language translator that faked all translations at the memorial service for Nelson Mandela. Apparently, he took to the stage and simply made gestures with his hands and arms that mean absolutely NOTHING in any language. [Correction: Some gestures did translate into actual words, but all-in-all the translation as a whole was incoherent.]
During an interview with The Associated Press, Jantjie says that he is schizophrenic and while performing at the memorial service he saw angels and knew that his condition was presenting a problem for him but he could not panic due to all the security service in attendance with many world leaders.
...So, he decided to fake it out instead??
From New York Post:
JOHANNESBURG — The man accused of faking sign-language while standing alongside world leaders like President Obama at Nelson Mandela’s memorial service said Thursday he saw “angels” at the event, has been violent in the past and suffers from schizophrenia.
Thamsanqa Jantjie said in a 45-minute interview with The Associated Press that his hallucinations began while he was interpreting and that he tried not to panic because there were “armed policemen around me.” He added that he was once hospitalized in a mental health facility for more than one year.
..he also apologized for his performance that has been dismissed by many sign-language experts as gibberish.
“I would like to tell everybody that if I’ve offended anyone, please, forgive me,” Jantjie said in his concrete home in a low-income Johannesburg neighborhood. “But what I was doing, I was doing what I believe is my calling, I was doing what I believe makes a difference.”
The statements by Jantjie raise serious security issues for Obama, other heads of state and UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon who made speeches at FNB Stadium in Soweto, Johannesburg’s black township. The ceremony honored Mandela, the anti-apartheid icon and former president who died on Dec. 5. Many of them, including Obama, stood one yard away from Jantjie.
“What happened that day, I see angels come to the stadium … I start realizing that the problem is here. And the problem, I don’t know the attack of this problem, how will it comes. Sometimes I react violent on that place. Sometimes I will see things that chase me,” Jantjie said.
“I was in a very difficult position,” he added. “And remember those people, the president and everyone, they were armed, there was armed police around me. If I start panicking I’ll start being a problem. I have to deal with this in a manner so that I mustn’t embarrass my country.”
Asked how often he had become violent, he said “a lot” while declining to provide details.
Jantjie said he was due on the day of the ceremony to get a regular six-month mental health checkup to determine whether the medication he takes was working, whether it needed to be changed or whether he needed to be kept at a mental health facility for treatment.
He said he did not tell the company that contracted him for the event for about $85 that he was due for the checkup, but said the owner of SA Interpreters in Johannesburg was aware of his condition.
AP journalists who visited the address of the company that Jantjie provided found a different company there where managers said they knew nothing about SA Interpreters. A woman answered the phone at a number that Jantjie provided and said it was not for the company, and another phone number went to a voicemail that did not identify the person or company with the number.
Jantjie said he received one year of sign language interpretation at a school in Cape Town, and insisted that he has previously interpreted at many events without anyone complaining.
The AP showed Jantjie video footage of him interpreting on stage at the Mandela memorial service.
“I don’t remember any of this at all,” he said.
This guy is so full of it. It's a shame that someone did not practice due diligence in hiring a professional sign language translator for Nelson Mandela's memorial! And it is even more of a shame for Thamsanqa Jantjie to accept this position knowing full-well that he had not the first clue on how to communicate in the language. Who thought the entire WORLD would be stupid enough to NOT notice this guy is a fraud?! And who thought it would be okay to rob the hearing-impaired of the service for the beloved Mandela?!
Jantjie needs a PR Specialist. This spin of "I'm a schizo.. and missed my 6-month checkup.. and could have gotten violent.." is NOT helping him in this case. AT ALL! He would have been a TRILLION times better off saying, "No comment!", when the cameras and recorders arrived.

|Peter Clatworthy holding a $750 picture of the Xbox One console|
One of this holiday season's hottest items is the Xbox One; which is in super-limited supply to-date.
Peter Clatworthy, a 19 year old in the UK, decided to try his luck on eBay instead of waiting for the big chains' to restock on this item. He found a listing and confidently shelled out $750.... FOR A PHOTO OF A XBOX ONE CONSOLE.
Clatworthy admits that the listing stated it was for the selling of a PHOTO but somehow his mind could not register that the product he'd receive would be exactly as the written description.
From Huffington Post:
When Peter Clatworthy paid nearly $750 for an XBox One from an eBay seller, he expected to get the actual console.
Instead, he just got a photo of it, with a snarky "Thank you for your purchase written on the back."
It wasn’t even a good picture. Just a box cover printed on an old ink jet printer with nothing but magenta left in its cartridge, Dumb As A Blog reported.
Clatworthy, 19, of Bilbrough, UK, who intended to give the XBox One to his four-year-old son for Christmas, admits he was conned, because the listing clearly stated it was a photo of an XBox One Day One edition console. However, he decided to buy it since the item was listed in eBay's video games and consoles category.
"It said 'photo' and I was in two minds, but I looked at the description and the fact it was in the right category made me think it was genuine," he told the Nottingham Post. "I looked at the seller's feedback and there was nothing negative. I bought it there and then because I thought it was a good deal. It's obvious now I've been conned out of my money."
Although eBay has promised to take action against the seller because misleading listings are not allowed, it may not help him because the Xbox One is reportedly sold out in the UK, SWNS reported.
One saving grace: Clatworthy says his mistake has provided some Christmas cheer to his friends and family at his expense.
This is a story that could have easily been avoided. He saw the description. He got what was promised. Poor print quality and all.
And is this guy trying for sympathy with that lie about purchasing the game for his toddler?? Really..He is 19 years old. Ain't no way he was purchasing one of the latest gaming consoles to give to a 4 year old! Nice try, but no one feels sorry for you!
Clatworthy needs to get it together.

Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was a South African anti-apartheid revolutionary who was imprisoned and then became a politician and philanthropist who served as President of South Africafrom 1994 to 1999. He was the first black South African to hold the office, and the first elected in a fully representative election. His government focused on dismantling the legacy of apartheid through tackling institutionalised racism, poverty and inequality, and fostering racial reconciliation. Politically an African nationalist and democratic socialist, he served as the President of the African National Congress (ANC) from 1991 to 1997. Internationally, Mandela was the Secretary General of the Non-Aligned Movement from 1998 to 1999.
Mandela served 27 years in prison, initially on Robben Island, and later in Pollsmoor Prison and Victor Verster Prison. An international campaign lobbied for his release, which was granted in 1990 amid escalating civil strife. Mandela published his autobiography and opened negotiations with President F.W. de Klerk to abolish apartheid and establish multiracial elections in 1994, in which he led the ANC to victory. As South Africa's first black president Mandela formed a Government of National Unity in an attempt to defuse racial tension. He also promulgated a new constitution and created the Truth and Reconciliation Commission to investigate past human rightsabuses. Continuing the former government's liberal economic policy, his administration introduced measures to encourage land reform, combat poverty, and expand healthcare services. Internationally, he acted as mediator between Libya and the United Kingdom in thePan Am Flight 103 bombing trial, and oversaw military intervention in Lesotho. He declined to run for a second term, and was succeeded by his deputy, Thabo Mbeki. Mandela subsequently became an elder statesman, focusing on charitable work in combating poverty and HIV/AIDS through the Nelson Mandela Foundation.
Although Mandela was a controversial figure for much of his life, he became widely popular during the last two decades following his release. Despite a minority of critics who continued to denounce him as a communist and/or terrorist, he gained international acclaim for his activism, having received more than 250 honours, including the 1993 Nobel Peace Prize, the US Presidential Medal of Freedom, the Soviet Order of Lenin and the Bharat Ratna. He is held in deep respect within South Africa, where he is often referred to by his Xhosa clan name, Madiba, or as Tata ("Father"); he is often described as "the father of the nation". Mandela died following a long illness on 5 December 2013, aged 95, at his home in Johannesburg.
Visit The Nelson Mandela Foundation page to leave a message of condolence for his family.

Over 2 Million Passwords For Social Media Sites (Including Facebook & Twitter) Have Been Stolen & Posted Online!!
More than 2 million passwords for sites including Facebook, Yahoo, LinkedIn, Twitter and Google have been stolen and posted online, BCC reports.
The "ethical hackers" at security firm Trustwave's SpiderLabs blog discovered the trove of login credentials, email credentials and passwords on Tuesday.
Security experts told BBC that a criminal gang may be behind the security breach.
We have reached out to the companies whose users' accounts were compromised and will update when we hear back.
The passwords and credentials were taken from people all over the world, Trustwave finds, and the site where the information was posted is written in Russian.
The stolen passwords are, in general, weak ones. The most popular password that was stolen is "123456," followed by "123456789," "1234" and "password."
This story is developing.
Moral to the story: Create UNIQUE passwords! Preferably including uppercase and lowercase letters and numbers and alphanumeric characters (i.e. $,!,@, etc.)
Maryland Woman Who Attempted To Steal Weave & Fought Beauty Supply Shop Owner Is Sentenced To 5 Years [Video]
|Surveillance footage. Peep the toddler on the scene though!!|
The chick bustin' out of the Victoria's Secret PINK 'fit will be spending the next 5 years in a prison after the foolishness she pulled in a Gaithersburg, MD beauty supply store back in September 2013. In the above video she tries to snatch the shop owner's phone out of her hands, she hits the lady with a shoe, punches her… even shakes her OWN child out of her stroller!!… (As if stooping low as hell with the act of trying to steal hair weave was not enough of an embarrassment for her.)
